Michigan Jobless Rate Up Slightly to 7.5% in May

LANSING, MI -- Michigan's unemployment rate is back on the rise after eight straight months of decline. The seasonally-adjusted jobless rate ticked up from 7.4 percent to 7.5 percent in May, according to data released Wednesday by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget.
