New charter schools planned for Battle Creek

Battle Creek could see two new charter schools in the coming months, and one of them is expected to open as early as this fall. The Grand Rapids-based Choice Schools Associates has been authorized by Ferris State University to open the Battle Creek Montessori Academy, said Tonya Holcomb, chief communications officer for Choice Schools.
