Signatures collected move Saugatuck, Douglas closer to consolidation vote

Saugatuck and Douglas residents circulating petitions for a vote on the merger of the two communities have collected more than 250 signatures so far, according to the anti-consolidation group Citizens for Independent and Cooperative Communities.
