Snyder will seek higher tax on diesel

Lansing - Gov. Rick Snyder said Wednesday he supports making truck drivers and motorists with diesel engine vehicles pay the same fuel tax rate that's levied on unleaded gasoline. Snyder said he'll offer new details today about his plan to raise $1.2 billion in new fuel and vehicle taxes during his budget presentation to lawmakers.
