State approves Vicksburg's plan to get out of debt

VICKSBURG, MI - The state has approved a deficit reduction plan for Vicksburg, the village's third attempt to reorganize and reduce its $3.5 million debt. Village Clerk Tracy Locey and Village President Bill Adams said Monday that the state notified the village of its approval in a brief letter.
