MACKINAC ISLAND, MI - Nearly 40 percent of certain recent graduates from Michigan's public universities have moved outside of the state, a figure that business and education leaders say must change in order to continue the state's economic recovery. They mostly left for career opportunities, but also cited urban experiences and public transportation as reasons for relocating after graduation.
