West Hall razed on WMU's East Campus

KALAMAZOO, MI - Demolition began Wednesday on historic West Hall on Western Michigan University's East Campus. At about 7:45 a.m., a construction crew from Bierlein Co. fired up a high-reach escalator and excavator equipment to pull down the circa 1915 building. Demolition was expected to be complete by Wednesday afternoon, construction workers told the Kalamazoo Gazette.
