"KALAMAZOO, MI – Western Michigan men's basketball coach Steve Hawkins said there was a breakdown in the scouting report entering Tuesday's game. IPFW entered the game against WMU with 330 attempts from 3-point range and 125 makes, the 10th-highest total in the country. The Mastodons didn't waver much from their identity as they made 13 of 26 shots from 3-point land and beat WMU 89-86 in front of a crowd of 2,676 at University Arena." (Kalamazoo Gazette)
