Today we bring you an extended version of our recent interview with Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kalamazoo Executive Director Robert Ezelle, who'll be honored on Saturday, Aug. 20 for his three decades at the helm. Air times are 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on our award-winning WestSouthwest public affairs show. Ezelle, 68, is one of Kalamazoo County's longest serving nonprofit executives. He retires in December. The Western Michigan University alum started at the Boys & Girls Club as a part-time game room and program director in the early ‘70s, within two years becoming associate director. In 1986, he assumed the directorship.
